Leda Tsoutreli is a Greek artist currently living and working in New York City. She works primarily in oil color, exploring the tension between spatial excess and the functional limitations of the canvas. She draws inspiration from biblical, baroque, rococo and surreal ideologies resulting in expansive compositions pushing the limits of mark-making. Tsoutreli disrupts traditional visual dynamics through the exploration of the limitations and capabilities of the line. Tsoutreli received her Bachelor of Arts from Kingston School of Art in 2023 and her Master of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute in 2025. She has exhibited at Dock 72 (2025, 2024), Steuben Gallery (2024), Pratt Institute (2024), and Pfizer Building (2023) in New York City; and in London and Greece.
