NUIT BLANCHE FEATURES ROBERT MONTGOMERY

NUIT BLANCHE FEATURES ROBERT MONTGOMERY  THREE POEMS ABOUT BUILDINGS AND TREES  OCTOBER 4, 2014

British artist Robert Montgomery places his light installations in one of the most important squares in Belgian history and invites the viewer to question the significance of our national monuments. His poetic sculptures or sculpted poems delicately explore themes like the city, nature, dreams, freedom and trees, opening up the doors of new interpretation to us

Nuit Blanche is a cultural event that is both artistic and popular. This 12th edition is always part of the desire to (re) discover and (re) conquer the urban environment from a new perspective. It offers a night to get together, share the unusual and contemporary design in a warm and festive atmosphere, conducive to discovery and surprise.

Brussels is full of known and lesser known artists, young and old that Nuit Blanche wants to provide visibility. Organized around centers and theme routes, Nuit Blanche allows everyone to go to the meeting places of unusual creations, or normally closed or ignored public places, devices or places of historic and prestigious premises in the City Brussels.
