The bronze sculptures of Carole A. Feuerman are larger than life
ART - The illusion is perfect and disturbing. The American artist Carole A. Feuerman, a hyper realist sculptor since the 1970s, regularly posts pictures of her work on her Instagram account.
Every detail including how we discover her sculptures is designed specifically to give an image of idealized bodies and accepted as such . " My sculptures blend reality and illusion. I idealize the human form, it is not life as it is. It is more like a dream , a magical state I would like everything to be ," says the artist.
Carole A. Feuerman , who uses both computer technology as wax molds to reproduce human forms , manages to recreate humanity print with details like the bristles of a beard or water drops on skin.
