The C24 Gallery, based in New York, will represent the American artist Carole Feuerman from now on.

Carole Fuerman is well-known for her ethereal sculptures made from bronze, resin and marble. Her works mainly look at female figures or are linked to femininity, such as her photograph St Lucia (2014) which depicts some bras cut in half displayed against a blue background. C24 Gallery will show the work of the artist on Contemporary Istanbul from the 12 to the 15 November 2015, and will dedicate an exhibition to her in May 2016.

Born in 1945, Carole Feuerman studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York, at Hofstra University, Long Island, USA, and Temple University, Philadelphia. Notably, her work has been exhibited at the Musée de l’Hermitage, Saint-Petersburg, at the Kunstmuseum Ahlen, Germany and even at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. Her works have been submitted to El Paso Museum of Art, Texas, the Boca Raton Museum of Art, Florida and the Bass Museum, Miami Beach. Her work is on show at the Palazzo Mora, for the Biennale de Venise (Venice Biennale), until the 22 November 2015. She currently lives and works in New York
